The Vision Ahead

Scripturestead Roadmap

One growing ecosystem. Many connected tools. One foundation: Scripture.

Where Scripturestead Is Going

Scripturestead began with a Bible app, but the vision has grown into something much larger: a connected collection of tools for reading, studying, researching, teaching, learning, serving, creating, and growing in faith.

This roadmap is not a promise that every feature will arrive on a fixed date. Scripturestead is being built carefully, one piece at a time. Priorities may change as testing, ministry needs, security, and real-world use shape what comes next.

The goal remains the same: build useful Christian tools that help people engage Scripture deeply without placing essential Bible learning behind a paywall.

Now: Strengthen the Foundation

Scripturestead Bible App

The Android app is now publicly available on Google Play. Download Scripturestead on Google Play. Work continues on stability, usability, audio, reading tools, and feature expansion.

Planned app improvements include deeper Bible trivia, more categories and difficulty levels, explanations tied to Scripture, progress and achievement systems, better study connections, and continued refinement of the reading experience.

Online Bible

The web Bible will continue to grow alongside the mobile app so reading and study tools can increasingly share the same Scripturestead data and services.

Shared Scripturestead Services

Behind the scenes, Scripturestead is building a shared API and identity foundation so future products can work together instead of becoming disconnected websites and apps.

Next: Build the Research Layer

Scripturestead Research

Research is planned as a major home for deeper biblical study, combining clear editorial content with structured data that can connect people, places, manuscripts, timelines, genealogy, evidence, and historical context.

Planned sections include:

  • People of the Bible
  • Places of the Bible
  • Biblical genealogy and family relationships
  • Ancient manuscripts and textual history
  • Timelines and historical context
  • Deep-dive studies
  • Archaeology and evidence
  • Biblical foods, customs, and daily life

Professional Printable Research

Research profiles and study material are planned with printable and downloadable PDF versions in mind from the beginning, including consistent Scripturestead branding, citations, dates, page numbers, and links back to the live source.

Community Contributions

Rather than mixing unreviewed material into official research, Scripturestead is exploring a contribution system where readers can submit corrections, sources, discoveries, and missing topics for review before anything becomes part of the curated Research library.

Families, Learning, and Discipleship

Scripturestead Kids

Scripturestead Kids is envisioned as a child-focused learning environment with age-appropriate Bible content, activities, games, and family tools. Privacy, parental controls, and child safety will be part of the foundation rather than added later.

Scripturestead Academy

Academy is planned as a structured learning environment for new believers, growing Christians, families, groups, and students who want guided biblical learning.

Future possibilities include courses, lessons, quizzes, learning paths, progress tracking, badges, and direct links from lessons into relevant Bible passages and Research resources.

Churches and Ministry Tools

Scripturestead Serve

Serve is planned as a church-focused platform for volunteer scheduling, ministry coordination, roles, availability, substitutions, communication, and team management.

The long-term model is church-centered rather than person-centered: ministry resources created for a church remain with that church as leadership and volunteers change over time.

Groups and Community

Scripturestead is exploring a community layer for testimonies, prayer, study groups, church groups, discussions, and user contributions while keeping authoritative Research separate from unreviewed community content.

Any community system will be evaluated carefully so it can connect to the broader Scripturestead identity system without becoming the master account system for the entire ecosystem.

Publishing, Resources, and the Home

Scripturestead Publishing

Publishing is planned to support Christian books, workbooks, studies, children’s resources, printable materials, and other content that can extend Scripturestead beyond the screen.

The Scripturestead Table

The Table is being developed as a food and family branch of Scripturestead, with biblical recipes, historical food context, family cooking, and everyday recipes that can connect naturally back to Research.

The long-term vision is for structured Research data about biblical ingredients, meals, feasts, and customs to connect directly with recipes and practical family experiences.

One Connected Ecosystem

The long-term goal is not to build a pile of unrelated websites. It is to build an ecosystem where each part strengthens the others.

A Bible passage could connect to a person profile. That person could connect to genealogy, geography, a timeline, a manuscript note, a study lesson, a trivia question, a children’s activity, or a printable research profile.

A church could eventually use Scripturestead identity across study, learning, community, and Serve while maintaining clear privacy boundaries between personal study information and church-owned data.

The technology may change as Scripturestead grows. The principle should not: different tools, one foundation.

What We Will Protect as We Grow

Growth is not the only goal. Scripturestead is being built around several commitments that should remain true as the platform expands:

  • Scripture remains the foundation.
  • Core Bible reading and study should remain freely accessible.
  • Privacy and security should be designed in from the beginning.
  • Children’s features should include strong parental and safety protections.
  • Research should distinguish evidence from interpretation.
  • Community contributions should be reviewed before becoming official research.
  • Features should serve the mission rather than exist simply because they can be built.

Still Building

This roadmap will continue to change as Scripturestead grows.

Some ideas will expand. Some will change. New needs will appear. But the direction remains clear: help people read Scripture, understand it, explore it deeply, teach it, live it, and share it.

Rooted in Scripture. Standing in Truth.
