Scripturestead Bible App version 1.3.2 is now available on Google Play, and this update is a big step forward for the app.
Version 1.3.2 does more than add a few new features. It begins connecting the Bible reader with the larger Scripturestead platform so reading, study, articles, and future resources can work together as one experience.
Words of Jesus in Red
One of the most requested Bible-reading features is now here: traditional red-letter text for the words of Jesus in the KJV reader.
The formatting works at the phrase level, which means verses containing both narration and the words of Christ only show the appropriate words in red. Readers who prefer standard text can also turn red-letter formatting off anytime in Settings.
Scripturestead Articles Are Now Inside the App
Published Scripturestead articles can now be read directly inside the app through a native reading experience.
Readers can browse recent posts, see featured images, categories, publication dates, estimated reading time, and share articles without having to leave the app.
From an Article Straight into Scripture
Scripture references inside supported articles can now open directly in the Bible reader. Tap a reference such as John 3:16, and Scripturestead can take you straight to that passage.
This is exactly the direction we want Scripturestead to go: not a collection of disconnected features, but a connected Bible study ecosystem where articles lead to Scripture, Scripture leads to deeper study, and every tool works together.
A Better Article Experience
The article section also received a visual and usability upgrade with cleaner cards, better category and date presentation, consistent featured-image areas, estimated read times, and easier sharing.
Improved Help & Support
Version 1.3.2 improves the Help & Support experience as well. Reporting an issue is easier, and support emails can include useful app and device information to help us troubleshoot problems faster.
We have also improved the review options for users who want to leave feedback on Google Play.
Version 1.3.2 Is Available Now
Version 1.3.2 has been approved and released on Google Play. Existing users can update now, and new users can download the latest version directly from the Play Store.
