The Road Ahead Is Long, But Worth It

I am excited to share that we have completed Google App testing and are now awaiting final approval. That is a major milestone for Scripturestead, and one that I am incredibly thankful to have reached.

At the same time, I have been working tirelessly to get the main website up, connected, and moving in the direction I believe it needs to go. There is still a lot of work ahead, but pieces are beginning to come together.

I am also beginning work on Scripturestead Research, and I believe this will become one of the main focal points of the entire platform.

There are so many questions people have about the Bible, biblical history, manuscripts, doctrine, archaeology, people, places, difficult passages, and claims they hear online. I want Scripturestead Research to become a place where people can come, examine the evidence, compare Scripture with Scripture, and find thoughtful, responsible answers rooted in truth.

The road ahead is long.

There are days when the amount of work still left to do feels overwhelming. Every new feature seems to reveal three more things that need to be built, connected, researched, or improved.

But I believe it will be worth it.

From the very beginning of Scripturestead, I have also become increasingly aware of the spiritual battle surrounding this work.

When you begin building something intended to encourage people to read Scripture, study it more deeply, grow in faith, and point people toward Jesus Christ, resistance should not surprise us.

There have been technical problems, setbacks, frustrations, delays, moments of doubt, and days when it would have been much easier to simply stop.

But I am reminded that Scripturestead was never meant to be built because the road would be easy.

It is being built because the mission matters.

I do not know exactly how large Scripturestead will become or every direction God may eventually lead it. I only know that I want to remain faithful to the work placed in front of me today.

One page.

One feature.

One article.

One person reached.

One step at a time.

There is still a tremendous amount of work ahead, but I remain excited about what Scripturestead is becoming.

And despite the battles, delays, and obstacles along the way, I believe more strongly than ever that this journey will be worth it.
